Lights, Camera, Action!

Chicktime Smalltown is a group of women who want to make a difference in the life of children and youth who call Big Springs Ranch for Children their home. We find different compassionate women to to lead a different activity each month in hope that our time together brings hope and is part of the healing journey of every child and youth we get to spend time with.

This month was extra special and different as we planned two days for the young boys /teens while they were on spring break.

 

We took a couple of field trips into Uvalde for Arcade games and bowling, local airport and airplanes, lunch , and fellowship!

Our time with the boys was certainly a beautiful thing , but can you see who we rustled up to help us role model love to the boys??? Men! We didn’t make them wear pink Chicktime T-shirts , but we witnessed such adoration, Grace , and gentleness by our male ”Chicktime” volunteers!

It takes a village and we are grateful for all who believe in our mission.
