About Our Chapter

Phoenix Wetsel founded Chicktime San Diego in 2013. Phoenix was moved to action  when her best friend’s 13 year old sister asked her the definition of grace. That question sparked something in Phoenix which led to the decision to bring Chicktime to San Diego.  She believes gift of grace is HUGE and It made her want to share the evidences of it in her life and foster meaningful bonds in her community.  Chicktime seemed like the perfect avenue to share!

Phoenix served as San Diego’s managing chapter leader 2013- 2020 before moving to Texas, You can still find Phoenix volunteering with Chicktime with her local Texas chapter. What a special lady!
