About Our Chapter

Thanks for stopping by Chicktime Augusta! My name is Trina and I the Managing Leader of our chapter. I made the decision to restart the Augusta chapter because I love to help women and children affected by domestic violence. I believe in the power of women banding together to help those hurting. As a survivor of domestic violence, I know how important a shelter like Safe Homes is. Providing a safe place to recover and get back on your feet to these women is key to the success of them rebuilding their lives. To be surrounded by people who don’t judge but are there to help is powerful in the healing process! I believe volunteering with Chicktime makes each of our volunteers stronger. We can build on each others strength and not have to do walk this journey alone. It helps to have a tribe with you who are all engaged in the same cause. Women bringing our God given talents to help others can only mean amazing things for our community! Chicktime Augusta’s mission is to build a strong tribe of women for fun fellowship and service to others. We would love for you to join us sometime!

We are excited about bringing Chicktime to Augusta and we are extending an invitation to women who have the heart and the passion to share the vision of impacting and enriching the lives of women and girls who are at risk and who are in transition. We invite you to join us once a month to offer women and girls positive and authentic interactions by using your individual talents and gifts. Perhaps you can lead a workshop or work behind the scenes in one, no talent or gift is too small. Even if you are unsure of your gifts, join us, and you will develop it along the way.

We would love for you to join us on our journey to add love and joy to the lives of these children. Our volunteers are what keeps our chapter going and that is why we need you too! If you’re interested in becoming a member or receiving event invitations, select the “Join a Chapter” link and then click GA- Augusta.

With Love,
Trina Nicastro
