Chicktime,
Inc. was founded in the fall of 2006 by a mom and daughter who wanted
to spend time together doing something that made a difference. Over
time the mom realized that she and her daughter (as were the girls they
were serving) were all so blessed by Chicktime that facilitating the
start up of new groups would be a worthy endeavor.
Much time was
spent laying the foundation so that Chicktime could grow and reach out
to other communities... because Chicktime is founded on the passions of
women... we did have to wait until those passionate women appeared! And
they have!
Chicktime, Inc. became a 501(c)(3)
public charity in the fall of 2009. Chicktime, Inc. is referred to on
this website as Chicktime National (dubbed by the Chicktime Smalltown
ladies in Uvalde, Tx... and it stuck!)
Chicktime is a
collaboration of hundreds of women and continues to evolve as we grow.
Please never hesitate to offer your ideas that would make the
organization work better for you!
Chicktime National is funded
by private donations and 10% proceeds of all net online sales (the bulk
of the net profit of online sales goes directly to charities
distributed through the local Chicktime groups). Very little money is
spent on organizational costs with the bulk of the time, energy, and
resources for this public charity run on a volunteer basis.
Chicktime National Services:
As a chapter, the following are available to you at no cost:
* Your group may accept tax deductible donations under the Chicktime, Inc. 501(c)(3) umbrella
* Your group is tax exempt on purchases made to run your program
* Free checking and accounting services (your group will receive monthly statements of your accounts)
* Chicktime National will file your tax return and mail out annual tax deductible statement to your donors
* Web presence
* Free email accounts (as many as you need)
* Monthly online newsletter distribution to almost 1200 people to promote your group
* Online interactive event calendar to advertise your chapter activities
* Online event registration
* Graphic logos for your use
* Wholesale merchandise for fundraising
Resources!!! No need to reinvent the wheel... you get lots of 'big sisters' to help get you started.
Chicktime National also offers (at your expense) an Annual Leadership Retreat to relax, recharge and connect with other chapter leaders
