On March 27th, Brenda DeJarnette led our group time with kite flying at the RGV Children's home. This past event was one of our most fun yet!
Next month Alicia Fogle planned a movie outing for the regular 10 kids April 25 between 9 - 11AM. We will watch UP at a local dentist's home. The staff and students are very excited about being leaving the facility for a movie.
In May we will have a group of organizers from IDEA Mission helping to organize scrap booking for the kids.
We are looking for organizers for June, July, and August.
also, look out for Chicktime flyers through the Palmview Mission area. We have begun distributing Chicktime RGV flyers to local business in hopes of reaching out to women who want to enhance their community through service. If you would like to get flyers to share, please contact Natalie at 956 878 3176.
The RGV Children's home shared that they are officially full. All beds are currently being occupied by children. They welcome volunteers to tutor and mentor kids during the week as well, especially between 3:45 and 5:00PM as school age students have homework assignments.
