Meet The Leaders

Chelsea Anders
Chicktime Conroe Founder & Leader
(936) 203-4557

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:
I feel I was called to be a Chicktime leader. I have spent almost a full year reflecting and contemplating if I could start a chapter. I have volunteered through several organizations taking on many roles but I still did not feel like I was fulfilling my purpose. Then when I revisited the idea of starting a Chicktime Chapter this past May I just knew it was where I was meant to be. I could feel a warmth in my heart telling me the time was right to start Conroe Chicktime!

My passion and gifts:
My passion and my gifts can both be found in my business. I founded Chelsea’s Colorful Creations in early 2018 with the intent of bringing awareness for mental ailments to light. I began making luxury bath items such as sugar scrubs, bath salts and bath bombs to sell to bring attention to my cause. My hope is to correct some of the misconceptions of mental ailments through my business and my blog and to raise awareness for the cause.

Hobbies and Interests:
My hobbies include making my bath items, reading, writing my blog, journaling, collection POP! Figures and Comics. I am a huge nerd. =) I love to play video games and indulge my creative side whenever possible.

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:
Being involved in the community has always tugged at me, and as a teacher, I’m constantly involved in children’s lives. I am a leader with Chicktime because I felt that just teaching my students wasn’t enough for me. I want to have an informal bond with them outside of a school setting. Chicktime is a great outlet for that purpose, because I can see the kids in my community in a different environment, and I can interact and reach them in ways I may be otherwise limited to as an educator.

My passion and gifts:
I place a high value on the importance of self-worth and care. I believe that to understand the world around you, you have to get to know and love yourself. Through school and social media, I started a community for females to learn, educate, and communicate those ideals with one another. Empathy is a gift that can serve the community and Chicktime well. That is one of my favorite gifts because I can understand and put myself in the place of others, which is needed for a leadership role and the children we serve.

Hobbies and Interests:
I am a competitive powerlifter, mother of two boys and a fur baby, and I enjoy reading books, traveling, and spending times with my family and friends.
