Meet The Leaders

Tricia Kile
Chicktime Fairfax Founder & Leader

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:
Chicktime immediately lit a spark within me at first sight. I knew then, without a doubt, that it was a grassroots movement I wanted to support. So much so, that when I realized there was not a local chapter – I decided to start one. There’s just something magical in making our youth realize they are loved, even by a stranger, and worthy of our genuine care. The miracles that come from this type of expression are unimaginable.

My Passions and Gifts:
It was such an honor to be told by a 70 year old woman, my mother, that I’m the most forgiving person she’s ever known. This natural ability of forgiveness stems from my pure acceptance of people and an ability to see them beyond the surface. When I couple that with a strong passion to be a humanitarian, my fervor shines! All of this…all of me…is what I hope to bring to Chicktime, the people we serve, and the volunteers that join us.

My Hobbies and interests:
In a simple way – I really just enjoy the bliss of life. Walking on trails through a canopy of trees, noticing the spider web glistening in the dew, laughing at my dog’s unique personality, sitting around with friends, or trying new things like kayaking and rockclimbing. People, nature, and everything in-between are all interesting to me and therefore categorized as “my interests.”

Why I Serve a leadership role with Chicktime:
Chicktime allows me another opportunity to help women achieve their goals and mentor them along the way. I want to encourage girls, at any age, that they are worthy and capable to reach for the stars.

My Passions and Gifts:
I have a passion for success, leading, and mentoring. As a female who has always worked in a male-dominated career, I particularly enjoy mentoring other women with similar passions and drive for success.

Hobbies and Interests:
My professional background is in Engineering and Cybersecurity. But most importantly, being mama to my baby boy, George, has been my passion since he was born in summer 2017. Since then, my focus has been on giving him all the love and positive experiences I possibly can, which includes lots of snuggles and giggles.

Why I Serve a leadership role with Chicktime:
I know so many strong, independent, amazing women and I love the idea of getting them involved with Chicktime.  I love the supporting other women and helping them achieve more than they ever thought possible.

My Passions and Gifts:
I am so full of love, especially for children, so I was very excited when Tricia told me about Chicktime. One of my passions is women and girls in technology so I’m excited to share my passion and let girls know that technology is not just for boys.

Hobbies and Interests:
I have a severe case of Wanderlust.  I love to travel.  I want to touch foot on every continent and experience all that the world has to offer.  When I’m not traveling, I enjoy exploring nature, hiking, and paddle boarding.  And of course, I love spending time with my friends and family.
