Meet The Leaders

Linda Zampieri
Chicktime Jackson Founder & Leader

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:

Shortly after I became a Christian, 42 years ago, I knew I was called to Children’s’ ministry. I have served the children of the church for years but out of the last 10 years have spent 5 of those years in Africa ministering to orphans. Having recently returned from Africa, I was praying about how I could reach children in my community and googled volunteer opportunities and that is how I found Chicktime. I believe that Chicktime is the perfect vehicle to bridge the gap between children who need our help and the women of our community who have so much to give but don’t know where to start.

My hobbies and interests:

I am 66 years old have 5 grown children and 11 grandchildren. I am a Field Director for the Moravian Watch, where we intercede for our country, the church and the pressing issues of our world. If you would like more information about that please checkout our website at mwatch.org. I love to make jewelry, sew, and cook.

My passions and gifts:

I am very excited about meeting new friends and spending quality time with our children that the Lord has called us to love. I expect nothing less than the bonding of our hearts together, brokenness healed and to witness the saving grace of God in action as we allow the Lord Jesus to lead us.

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:I serve a leadership role with Chicktime as a result of The Lord opening the opportunity to me through Linda Zampieri, at a time when I was searching for the next thing He would have me do.  When she asked, I stepped back and resisted…for about one minute!  My participation was then immediately confirmed in my spirit by The Holy Spirit, and I stepped right in.  I have something inside me that Jesus walked me through beginning at age 13 that I pray is helpful and will be a blessing to other young girls.

My hobbies and interests:

I have an enjoyment of expressing artistically, and hand-built pottery is a wonderful, though labor intensive, way of entering into a place of joy, healing, and time spent alone in The Lord’s presence.  I have been blessed to be included as a Fellow member of The Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi and display and sell my pieces at times.  I like creating floral arrangements, and have fun decorating glass items with wire and glass gems.  I also draw a little, and have oil painted in my past.

My passions and gifts:

My main passion is worship!  My next passion is to see others enter the presence of God with delight, be that through worship, prayer, healing, or counseling.  I am blessed to be part of a SOZO team at our church.  It is such deep satisfaction and gladness to watch others enter into joy as they are healed, made whole, and are delivered!  Puts a song in my heart every time!  I am prophetic, though not in the Prophet anointing. I enjoy praying for others.  I have served as an intercessor’s intercessor in the recent past.  I have found myself capable as a result of God’s grace as a caregiver for my elderly family members, and a few others.

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:

Over the last almost 4 years I have been a Missionary in Tete Mozambique serving the Lord, living in an orphanage with children that were abandoned and abused. God has blessed me with a love of all people regardless of age. I also played a role in helping to lead in the ministry along with my friend Linda Zampieri. In my heart I want to continue to serve those that are less fortunate and love them into wholeness.  I am excited to be a part of the Jackson Ministry and look forward to the Lord using us to effect the lives of others.

My Hobbies and Interests:

Love to spend time with others, play games, putting puzzles together, also very interested in helping others in need. I was a Big Sister in the Big Brother & Big Sister organization years ago for 5 years.  Currently training with the (CPC) Center for Pregnancy Choices.

My passions and gifts:

Several passions of mine are to encourage and to love others.  I also love to counsel with those that just need someone to talk to and working with others as a team and enjoying the fruitfulness that comes from it.

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:

I am humbled to serve in leadership with Chicktime Jackson. My hearts desire is to see children’s lives touched with God’s love. I have found that spending time with children is very rewarding and inspiring. I have been searching for a way to give back to my community and this program allows me to do just that.

My passion and gifts:

My gift I believe is compassion. I have a desire to help others and to let them know how much God loves them. I have often served in the helps ministry. I love to listen to others. I feel like sometimes people need someone just to hear what they are going through. Then let them know that God loves them and he knows what is in their heart.

Hobbies and interests:

I enjoy spending time with my family. I love playing all kinds of games with my granddaughter. I like going to the beach and watching my husband build sandcastles while I read a good book. Looking at recipe books is one of my favorite things. I may not cook one thing but I love to go through them and make copies and then put them in my wish list folder.
