Meet The Leaders

Tina Jones
Chicktime Marietta Founder & Leader

Why I Serve a leadership role with Chicktime:
“If you can’t figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. For your passion will lead you right into your purpose.” -TD Jakes

I have figured out my passion. Simply put, It is helping others.  This has led me to my purpose, which is to use my non-profit management experience to serve unselfishly in a leadership role that will bring caring people together, help all children, and empower women. That is what Chicktime is all about and that is why I serve! I believe God has ordered my steps and led me to Chicktime and I am ready to be a servant leader!

My Passions and Gifts:
I am passionate about living my best life, enjoying new adventures, helping others, being a mother, and making a difference, even if it’s for one person.

My Hobbies and Interests:
Spa Days, traveling the world, and dancing! I love beaches, sunrises, rainbows, long walks, road trips, nature, soul food and New York City (random, i know). I’m interested in retiring in the U.S. Virgin Islands. How does Chicktime St. Croix sound?!

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:
I recognize that Chicktime has made many significant changes in many children and young adults lives. I personally recognize this as a great opportunity for me because it is a passion of mine to be able to surround myself around God’s children to nurture, guide, and love them and keep them safe. Like the song I believe that Children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way.

My hobbies and interests:
My hobbies: volunteering, reading, writing poems, poetry, and short stories, always looking for more ways to learn and serve a purpose, and shopping.

My passions and gifts:
My passions are children and the elderly they are the most precious things in life. They are innocent and need to be shown love and compassion. My gifts are being a server, giver, mentor, and compassion with understanding.

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:
I have a heart for helping the less fortunate and doing anything I can to make their lives even a little bit better. Chicktime is the perfect way for me to help others because the girls are close to my age considering I am 16 years old. I feel like God has called my mom and I to this leadership role and we could not be more excited to be a part of something this special and meaningful!

My hobbies and interests:
I love spending quality time with friends and family, even if we’re just doing something simple like watching tv. Traveling and eating at different restaurants is probably my absolute favorite thing to do. I love exploring places I have never been before and seeing God’s beautiful creation!

My passions and gifts:
My passion would definitely be helping stray/ rescue animals and helping people. I feel it is our duty and God’s plan for our life to help as many people and animals as possible, even in the little ways. We have been so blessed and I believe getting to help others is God’s purpose for us.

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:
I am passionate about helping those who are hurting, especially children and teens.  Jesus Christ has done so much for me.  He has always provided for me and I feel that He has called me to help others.  John 15:12 says “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you”.  I was blessed to come from a loving and supportive family.  So I want to be able to show love His love to others who are going through a tough time.

My hobbies and interests:
I love spending time with my husband, daughter, family and good friends.  I am a foodie and a gourmet cook.  I also enjoy relaxing at the beach, reading great books, listening to music, attending concerts, watching sunrises and sunsets, fishing, traveling and watching movies with my loved ones.

My passions and gifts:
I am passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with others.  I hate to see anyone or anything hurt.  In addition to helping people, I also rescue animals.  My gifts are leadership and encouragement and I try to use these gifts to show others His love.
