April Update

It’s Luau time at New Life!  Thanks to the sweet ladies from Mount Olive Lutheran Church led by Sandra Hatchett we had a fun filled day of Hawaiian themed activities.  Sandra led the game station in the gym.  We had an exciting round of limbo that the girls loved.  All kinds of games were spread around the gym for the girls to play and tossing the huge beach balls was a favorite activity.  Phyllis led the Island craft station.  The girls made beautiful hibiscus flowers, Tiki masks and fish sand art.  Melissa led the Tiki snack station.  Delicious brownies were decorated like Tiki masks, gummies were used to make octopus snacks and also we decorated rice crispy treats.  Thanks ladies for a great day of fun with the precious girls at New Life Children’s Center.
