Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:

I’ve always been interested in giving back, even as a child. My mom would take us to serve food to the homeless every Thanksgiving, and I’ve been chasing that feeling ever since. I was especially drawn to Chicktime because of their dedication to children. Having worked in family court in Baltimore City, I know what a lot of those children are dealing with at home, and I know that in those circumstances it’s difficult to remain optimistic. It’s important to allow children to truly experience childhood and have positive experiences and role models. As cliché as it sounds, children are the future, and I want to be a part of creating a future filled with love and hope. I hope that through Chicktime, I can help these children to gain the confidence to know that they can accomplish anything they put their minds to, and that their circumstances don’t define them.

My passions & gifts:

I am passionate about creating opportunities for people regardless of their race or economic circumstances. I think my talent/gift is my ability to relate to people from all different backgrounds. It’s important for me to be able to see the humanity in everyone, despite our differences.

Hobbies & Interests:

In my spare time I like to read, volunteer, travel, exercise, and try out new foods!

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:
have seen the positive impact that receiving encouragement, having a system of support, and positive outlets for creativity have had in my life. The hope and confidence that was instilled in me has given me the desire to impart that same hope and confidence in the lives of those who may not have that reminder that they are valued and that their dreams are possible. Chicktime encompasses the values of encouragement and positivity that are important to me and allows me to live out my desire of giving back through service.
My passions & gifts:
I am passionate about providing encouragement, support, and access to important necessities to communities in need. I understand how vital it is to have a source of hope in order to thrive, and I desire to provide that hope through actions of service to others.
Hobbies & Interests:

I enjoy cooking, reading, fashion, working out and action movies!
