September Update:

Our September workshop was canceled due to the weather stemming from Hurricane Florence. We appreciate our volunteers and look forward to see you at our October Workshop!

August Update:

What an amazing and fun Chicktime event today at Hilliard House !!!

Thank you so much to Dawniel for leading a great workshop!

….And that you to the volunteers who came & to my amazing co-leaders who I’m so happy are on this journey with me ❤️❤️❤️❤️

July Update:

Wow! The summer sun was out and HOT during Chicktime this month!

We had so much fun playing summertime games with the kiddos this month that we almost forgot to take any pictures!

June Update:

Awesome day with Chicktime Richmond at Hilliard House! Thank you for everyone who came to volunteer, the kids had a blast!

We made glitter calming jars – and a lot of the kids said they wanted to give it to their Dads for Father’s Day – but also their Aunties and Sisters too!

May Update:

The bad weather may have put a kink in our May workshop but that’s okay! We are beyond ready to see everyone in June and we hope you can make it!

Earlier this month, our Chapter Founder and Leader, London, got to meet the Founder of Chicktime, Inc, Lori Rhodes! Over yummy pizza they chatted about life, love, and the legacy that will someday be Chicktime Richmond!

April Update:

These photos maybe don’t show much. Today was Chicktime Richmond’s first event. And I was our only volunteer that came. To be completely open, I just felt like a failure for not recruiting more volunteers.

However, about ten kids showed up. Ten kids who were at Hilliard House shelter for being homeless.

One of these pictures is of a cupcake decorated by a 9 year old girl who had been living on the street with her grandma and 2 year old sister, and she gave me a hug today.

So, to me, these pictures show a lot. They show happy kids, getting to have a cupcake

We are so excited to announce that London Dobbs will be leading the Chicktime movement in Richmond! As London prepares to launch her chapter, she is looking for co-leaders to help her run the chapter, workshop leaders to share their gifts and passions with the children we will serve, and of course… VOLUNTEERS!!!

If you feel called to serve the hurting and broken children of our community… please contact London at richmond@chicktime.com today!
