Meet The Leaders

My sister and I often go out into the community and do what we can to help anyone in need. We gather our friends during holidays to cook and feed the homeless. It just makes sense to us that we should be thankful for what we have but also think of the many that unfortunately go through hardship and suffering and try to do the least bit to remind them someone is thinking of them. Last year I was soul searching and felt I needed a bigger purpose in life. Although I was helping people, I felt I needed to be part of a community, making a lasting and growing impact. So, I did an endless search and came across Chicktime which touched my heart right away.

I feel very protective over children and animals because unfortunately there are people preying on the defenseless.  These children need to know that there are people out there that care about and want to stay constant in their lives because every one of them are amazing and are destined for great things. A little goes a long way, just showing simple consistency has a huge impact in a child’s life and I intend to do that. I love being part of an amazing community that shares my passion to make these kids feel loved and secure. I’m truly humbled to serve as a leader and I’m excited for everything I’ll learn along the way.

We all need to have things that keep us grounded from our busy lives.  For me, the things that keep me grounded are cooking, baking, working out, catching up on shows I’ve put off forever, spending tine with family and friends.
