If you find yourself here and disappointed Chicktime Wicksburg doesn’t have volunteer activities you are in a good place to explore the idea of building a team and re-launching the chapter! The children at Wiregrass Children’s Home miss our workshops and we feel the call to find a new leadership team to continue the legacy started there. The children at Wiregrass have faced many hardships and Chicktime workshops offer them hope and encouragement and of course lots of love and laughter.
If you have a heart for children and/or if you have supported Chicktime Wicksburg from the sidelines and want to do more….now is the time to act! We will give you all the training you need and help you transition into the leadership role.
Please contact, Lori Rhodes, Chicktime Founder, at email@example.com for more information. Feel free to look up chicktime.com and find out more about being a leader Chicktime leader.
Come be blessed by being a blessing!
We had a wonderful, wonderful time at our Christmas party at the Wiregrass Children’s Home! We decorated stockings and filled up our tummies with some delicious cookie cake! I owe so much to my work family for helping out and donating! They know how to love so big!! I’m so thankful that God has put them not only in my life, but in these kids’ lives! 💕💕💕
It’s beginning to look—and feel—a lot like Christmas!
We had such a blast with our little artists yesterday! Our pool party got rained on but it didn’t stop the fun!
We made icees, played board games and got to create some sidewalk art!! I love hanging out with these kids! They’re so fun and creative! It’s never a dull moment at WCH!
Our April workshop was canceled as there were no kids at the shelter. So we want to celebrate the meaning of EASTER with the children who will be there next month….after-all ~ Easter is all year round! So join us for Easter in May!
Praise God we have the opportunity to spread HIS love with these precious children!
Always an amazing time when Mr. Doug & Ms. Reanna come for a visit! #alabama4H
Today, the kids got to learn about animals that are native to our area and learned responsible ways to react when they encounter them. We also had a little relaxation time with 4H Yoga learning poses like the mountain, the cat, and the frog! #skinzandskullz
Thank you to everyone who came out to play today! We’d love to see Y•O•U next month 💕💕
We had a blast playing with the kiddos today, painting pumpkins and faces!!
We played games and took lots of pictures! We love this group of women so much!
They loved on those kids like Jesus would! And at Chicktime, that’s what we strive to do!
Such an honor to be able to participate with these missionaries.
We had successful workshop yesterday at the #alabamabaptistchildrenshome as we lead Chicktime Dothan’s September workshop!🏡 As Lynn lead the volunteers in a closing prayer, we could hear the chatter and laughter of our babies in the background and it instantly filled my heart with joy.
The kids had fun, they know how much the ladies of Chicktime Dothan LOVE them, and they will reflect on these moments in the years to come.
This group of volunteers, as well as the house parents Mike and Heidi, play such an instrumental part in the character development of the children that reside at the home and I am so appreciate of each one of them. If we want to make a difference in the world we live, we must begin with our children and these ladies (and Mike!) are faithful servants.
Thank you, all of you, for your selflessness and willingness to fulfill any needs that we have.
We are excited to begin making special memories like these with our charity partner, the Wiregrass Children’s Home, in October and we would LOVE for you to join us!
Joyfully, Chicktime Wicksburg
